Counting treasures after monster enhancers played
Simple question. Is there is dependence in which sequence monster enhancers can be played?
Example. Monster has 1 treasure. Player A plays -5 to level enhancer. Then player B plays +5 to level enhancer. a) Does monster has 1 treasure, cause number of treasures = 1-1+1 = 1? or b) Does monster has 2 treasures, cause number of treasures = Max(1,1-1)+1 = 2? In general way, formula for number of treasures is (as I think) N = Max (<number of treasures on monster card> + <sum of treasure modifications by enhancers>, 1) Am I right?

Re: Counting treasures after monster enhancers played
All enhancers are considered together, without regard for the order in which they were played.

Simply put, add them all up, regardless of the order. I believe all the negative ones say that there still will be a minimum of 1 treasure.

Quote:
A simple way to do the math is to add all the bonus treasures (from positive enhancers) then subtract all of the reduced treasures (from negative enhancers). If your final total is less than 1, raise it to 1. Done.

I'm just imagining a world where you can indeed go below one treasure.
"I'm going to beat this level 1 potted plant!" "Fine, but I'm playing these two -5 enhancers on it, when you kill it, you have to get rid of one treasure!" |

Re: Counting treasures after monster enhancers played
It just seems stupid, since you've killed a Monster that was weak. In what RPG does killing a weak monster force you to give up stuff from your inventory?

Re: Counting treasures after monster enhancers played
Well, if we're going to come up with reasons why you have to pay treasure for beating a monster lets look at it this way: The monster was so weak that the treasure taken from it was not enough to cover the cost of adventuring, wear and tear of armour and weapons, cost of feeding and stabling horse etc etc. It seems like a silly rule, but could be fun on occasion.

hehe. I would never play that way, but it is an amusing situation to think about.
