Default Ogre Anthology

As most of you know, I periodically float ideas out there for some "market research" without any specific end-point in mind. Most of them end up being simply informative to me, and nothing more, whereas a few may grow into new project ideas. With this complete disclaimer in mind that I'm making no promises other than sharing the info, I have a question:

Would an anthology of Ogre short stories be of interest to you?

These would be significantly longer than the stories in Ogrezine, but still far shorter than a true novel. So what do you think?

Not really interested in it, if it was a finished product I might buy one if the price was right.

Yes. A more expansive exploration of the lore would make me giddy.

I don't get giddy often.

I'll buy either PDF or POD on sight, but I would /really/ want POD.

I always felt that the mechwarrior books did helped the product line sell and gave us a better idea of what was going on behind the battles.

Yes, I want it.

I'd be a hypocrite if I didn't answer yes, given what I just posted to the Facebook group the other day about wishing the world of Ogre had more meat on the bones.

I wouldn't want to see it become as detailed as some of the competition...there's definitely a fine line between "make the world the game takes place in feel alive" and "so much lore no single person can keep track of it all"...but I'd be all for some tales of famous people, or tales of famous battles, taking things like 'The Beachhead at The Hague' or The Battle of Gibraltar and making them more than just a passing note on the Timeline page.
