Congratulations on the new PC, Kromm!

Agreed with many others on the mechanical keyboard - the little barely-raised-plastic-keys types have always resulted in me missing the keys constantly while typing at high speed.

For the past nine years I've gone with Das Keyboard 4 Ultimate (the one that doesn't have any actual key markings). It works well with my Dvorak keyboard layout, which I experimented with around 2008 and discovered I liked, since it made my carpal tunnel issues disappear. (Contrary to popular assertion, I don't actually think I type any faster with it, it just makes my wrists hurt less. Less stretching, I think.)

I also got a standing desk converter from iMovr, the Cadence, since I knew I'd be moving around from workplace to workplace fairly often and I needed to be able to carry my standing desk solution with me. It actually only occupies about the same desk area as a small spiral-bound notebook would, as it's an arm clamp setup. I like the adjustable nature (sitting for a spell, standing for a spell, both are possible) as well, but one drawback is that I was only ever able to use one single monitor with it at any one time.

New entry posted in the GURPS thread of my LJ. Not a super-productive week, sadly, but my excuse is that I wasn't feeling great.
