GURPS finger horror
How would one go about modelling one of these in GURPS?
The finger horror is one of the most original monsters I've encountered in a while, and very creepy. The other issue that might come up with it though is describing the thing to players in a way that does it justice.

Re: GURPS finger horror
The special ability would be either (local) corrosion damage or a very nasty Affliction. The shriek ability is a straightforward enough Affliction. Extra Arms is obvious (also, the arms are all unusually long), Monstrous Appearance and maybe some Terror is appropriate, it has a Restricted Diet and the rest shouldn't be a problem.

Re: GURPS finger horror
Off hand (sorry) I'd call the rotting touch a resisted, cyclic low damage corrosion effect with lots of cycles. Resist with a -4 or so, the damage continues until a successful resistance or until you melt.
It obviously has a severely restricted diet, and classic Uncontrollable Appetite (stopping to eat while the goblins were escaping). The mention of arms constantly breaking suggests that it is Fragile (Brittle). It's probably Fragile (Unnatural) also, for being Undead, for being a nightmare creation, and for the repeated mentions of how feeble it is. And yes, creeeeepy as hell - Monstrous appearance and Terror really does seem appropriate.
