I have a toddler. EVERY night I am forced to take a drink. This just means I drink more.

If you listen to my Firing Squad interviews, you'll see I have a verbal tick - I have a tendency to say "That's interesting, because . . . " or variations on that theme. Christopher transcribes my interviews, and at some point we joked that we needed to have a drinking game, where every time I say "Interesting!" Christopher has to take drink. Now, every time I say "interesting" everyone that plays GURPS has to take a drink.

So all of y'all owe me three shots.

Remember y'all, Doug is the Ballistic Fairy. Like Satan, the Leanansidhe, or Batman if you say his name he appears. You simply down't mess with that level of awesomeness.

Doug: I swear, I'm going to buy a case of Hatteras Red and send it to you and Lady Asskicker. You guys will love it.

It's a somewhat in-joke between Doug and I (as he notes).

Ok, people, STOP WRITING THINGS THAT I WANT. I'm going to have to cut myself off until my contract comes through. Unless you all want to see me eating dry noodles and toothpaste.

For me it'd probably be 9mm, 6.8x43SPC, and .300 Win Mag for the felonious dwarf psychic factor.

So how does this stack up points cost wise compared to normal magic? Will it cost about the same or will it cost more?

Seems to cost about the same as RPM, points-wise, and I suspect on par with Path/Book. Might be a bit more expensive at first than Magic-magic, but it's also much more flexible.
