Roles (Critical Role) and Classes

Can a Munchkin have at the same time a Class and a Role (from Munchkin Critical Role) as he can have a Class and other Munchkin Thingies or Roles are equivalent to Classes and a player can have only one of them?

Roles appear to be the same a Classes. I would play them to be equivalent, meaning you cannot have both, with having Super Munchkin
