Transhuman Space Halloween Story

If this isn't a great inspiration for a Halloween-themed TS adventure, then I don't know what is.

Basic outline: Researchers attempt to create an SAI which behaves in a way that is as "pure Evil" as they can make it - so that they can understand the nature of Evil. But foolishly, they underestimate it, and it begins to manipulate the research team until it finally breaks free. Havoc ensues.

Any suggestions for embellishing this outline?

Salvation lies in the virtual hands of another SAI, able to argue for pure Good, but who must walk a dangerous path to avoid Corruption.

Great find, Jürgen! I'll meditate on it for awhile, see if anything comes up before Friday. It's a great idea for some TS/Horror crossover, something I've always wanted to put together without the "It's Transhuman Space, except it's got vampires and werewolves in it"-solution.

I mean, if Zombies! In Space! aren't horrible enough, what is?

Why is it that I can't keep Project Satan from Futurama out of my mind when I read this?

Calculon: They were working on Project Satan, a savage, evil intelligent car built out of the most evil parts of the most evil cars in history.
