Bad Stuff on Monster Cards
I'm using the Munchkin Deluxe set, and I'm not sure whether the "Bad Stuff" on Monster cards should be applied immediately when as the card is drawn face up (or played during a Look For Trouble phase), or if that Bad Stuff applies only after you lose a fight with the Monster.
Also, if a player gets stomped to death after drawing the 3,872 Orcs card, does that player lose the game or does he/she merely begin again - back at level 1 - with a new character and a new hand of 8 cards? Thanks for your help. |

Re: Bad Stuff on Monster Cards
Bad stuff only applies when you are defeated and miss your run away rolly.
If bad stuff is death, the other players loot the corpse and you start with a new hand on your next turn - refer to the rules to the specific process. |

Re: Bad Stuff on Monster Cards
Bad Stuff hits you when you (a) cannot kill or defeat a monster and (b) fail your roll to Run Away. (A very few monsters have things that hit you even if you succeed at your Run Away roll, but that's rare.)
Death is defined in the rules. You keep your Class, Race, and Level -- everything else is fair game for your worthy opponents to loot, one card each, highest Level to lowest. At the start of your next turn, draw a new hand of eight cards and continue playing.
