What is the purpose and or Strategy of a monster with 0 attack I was playing for first time and we didn’t know?

Re: Blandy mcblanderson
It is used as a bluff to either force your opponent to use their Run Away or commit resources so they can't be used later in the turn.

Re: Blandy mcblanderson
There are also plenty of cards that can increase the damage a Monster can do. So with a Mischief or two, Blandy can become a formidable foe.

Re: Blandy mcblanderson
So say you want to bluff your opponent with blandy make them think it’s a big monster by putting out say 3 gold and he wants to fight anyway do I lose the gold or do I get it back cause the cost was zero anyway?

Re: Blandy mcblanderson
If a monster is hired, he gladly takes the money that was used, so yes, overpaying simply means the amount you put down will be gone if the monster is hired.
