The Disappearance that made RPGs Famous
The case of this then young man disappearing 40 years ago yesterday, and his death 39 years ago today, is what made RPGs famous. (That and Rona Jaffe's Mazes and Monsters inspired by his story, both the book and the movie that followed starring a little-known actor named Tom Hanks).
