There are many issues with GURPS VtM. My primary issue though is with Thaumaturgy (trying to make it fit the standard GURPS magic system was just silly). Instead, each Path should have been developed as an ability (with each ritual being an ability). Of course, GURPS 3e had a real bad habit of using its standard magic system as a hammer, which is why Voodoo 3e was so different from everything else in 3e.
