Re: Decks of Destiny - Late April
Go! Go! GO! GOOOO!
Seriously, this is cooking up very nicely in the closing weeks. I couldn't have my regular saturday game yesterday and so spent an hour designing a new labyrinth by laying tiles out on the table top prior to committing the design to hex paper. It is another unexpected discovery for me of the uses for tiles; I find it is much easier to come up with ideas for maps, the maps you make are just better (more interesting to explore; better looking on the table), and of course they are automatically compatible with your MH tile set when it comes time to play. Having 12 (or, dare to dream, 13) sheets of new MH tile elements is going to be a huge step forward. Any chance that we'll get pdfs of these released well in advance of the hard copy shipment next winter? Now that I'm used to working with them, I'll make a paper set for labyrinth design purposes if they are available. |

The goal, as with the Legacy Edition and others, is to get as many eyes on everything as we can before going to print. We want to find the mistakes before we print everything. So: You'll have access to those new megahex tiles in PDF way before the physical rewards are shipped.

Many Kickstarters follow a "bathtub curve," with a lot of pledges at the start and end and less in the middle of the project.
