Healing Spell Ideas
IQ 10
Mend Wound (T): This spell heals the damage a target has by converting it into fatigue. This spell must be cast within an hour of the character being injured or else the magic will not work. 2 St points per point of ST healed, to a maximum of 4 points healed. IQ 12 Minor Healing (T): This spell directly heals a target of damage. This spell must be cast within an hour of the character being injured or else the magic will not work. 3 ST per point healed, to a maximum of 4 points healed. IQ 15 Major Healing (T): This spell directly heals a target of damage. This spell must be cast within an hour of the character being injured or else the magic will not work.3 ST per 2 points healed, to a maximum of 8 points healed. |

Agreed - very nice mechanic.
Back in the day, we had a healing spell that you had to have literacy and know five specific languages before you could cast it - we had several more powerful spells that could only be cast if you knew the right languages (and, while there was crossover, it wasn't always the same languages). Not only did it make the healing spells harder to get, but it added flavor. |
