A million expansions - how many base packs?

*NOT INCLUDING BLENDING OTHER MUNCHKINS IN - just thinking about the "tan back" and all the expansions just for plain-old-awesome-munchkin

we're overstuffed in the Monster Box and are always trying to show the game to new players....but there's so many expansions in our box that it's difficult to get race/class cards - or remember how hard it was to beat the initial monsters, spending all that time to "run away". the expansions help get lower level monsters into the fray, etc

how many base sets do you all have, when you've got this many expansions, and is there an official SJG matrix - like "you have all the big boxes through Munchkin 10, play with X base sets" or "you have 8x15 card expansions, and 2x30 card expansions, plus 3 "another 112 cards" - play with X base sets....
or do you just say THE H3LL WITH IT and go kicking down doors?
