hireling enhancers - gold piece value

1) can an hireling enhancer (with gold value) be stolen by a thief?
-1a) if the heriling has also a gold value. In this case is also the hireling being stolen or a thief can chose if steal only the enhancher or both?
-1b) if the hireling doesn't have a gold value.
-3b) if the enhancher is attached to a cheat card

The answer to this (and all the sub questions in the above post) is simple: I just searched my database and did not find any hireling enhancers labeled as such, and a search for any cards that MIGHT be a hireling enhancer revealed very few, none of which has a Gold Piece value. So a Thief can't steal them as they aren't Items.

So if you have a specific card to ask about that I can find in our database, I'll recheck and can answer for that specific card. But the general answer is "This cannot happen."

OK, didn't find those cards in my earlier search (obviously) so thank you for the reference.

If the Thief has a Hireling they could attach those cards to, then yes, they can roll to try to steal them. They can't try to steal one if they don't have a Hireling because the card can't be in play without a Hireling and the card a Thief steals must remain in play.
