Finally decided to back at the "I want it all!" level. Will probably end up worth it with all the add-ons unlocked.

Curious though, is there anything you get with the kickstarter that will not be available at a later date? It doesn't seem like it, just curious.

The add-ons are supposedly going to be available later and the base game certainly will, but the expansion, and everything in it, is Kickstarter exclusive, or at least that's the impression I got.

(The expansion certainly is, they've made that clear. I'm just not sure if all the extra goodies included in it, beyond the cards themselves, are certain to be exclusive to the Kickstarter.)

I don't understand this either. The expansion is about the last thing I would expect to remain exclusive. I would expect a single card or bookmark to be exclusive, not an entire expansion. I feel like surely they mean "this version of the expansion" is exclusive.

Mister Ed is correct, the expansion (Munchkin Shakespeare: Limited Engagement) is a Kickstarter exclusive. Stores that back the project may be ordering it for them, but as far as a general Munchkin release, this will be harder to find once the campaign ends.

We haven't made anything else exclusive to the project, but we also can't guarantee all add-ons etc. will get a general retail release, or if they'll be on W23. The two things that are certain:

Munchkin Shakespeare the core game will go to distribution for retailers to buy after the campaign ends.

Munchkin Shakespeare: Limited Engagement will not.
