Default Can you use 'levels' to bribe?

Is it legal to offer the gained levels to bribe someone to help fight a monster?

i.e. a monster offers 2 levels if defeated - can I offer another player one of those levels if we win?

Rules tend to lean me towards no, but I think it would be more fun to allow it.

No. Nothing allows you to offer levels to another player.

Note that if it is a Fierce monster, the helper will get the second level anyway.
