We should be running a few demos at the booth, yes. First come, first served for seating.

Thanks for sharing updates on the new edition of Car Wars. Actually, Car Wars was among the first "fantastic" games (per a very traditional definition) I ever played, some 25 years ago. I'm looking forward to the Kickstarter mentioned on the website.

We wanted to get the pricing estimates out there as early as possible. We figured that giving everyone a few months advance warning would be helpful.

What is the big driver in the $100 starter set cost, over say a $60 price point like the new Battletech boxed set. I use that for comparison because it includes 8 minis, and is probably the closest in box content to Car Wars.

The forewarning is much appreciated!

The lack of an "I want it all" was sad at first blush, but thinking about the wide range of potential tariffs hanging over your heads and some of the other "This is gonna be a monster of a thing" hints over the last year-ish, I just don't see a way to hedge against the potential huge swings in TCO.

No one thing. The box is stuffed with goodies. Minis + the bases. Cards. (Lots of cards.) Dice. The dashboards. Tokens. Rules. There's a lot inside the box.

The more I think about it, the more I'm left thinking "Jeez, I hope Phil's leaving himself for wiggle room on the tariff situation...

We think we have it under control, but planning around random can be tough.

Anyway, let's stick to the subject: Car Wars Sixth Edition!

Yes! Lest this derail into unpleasantness and we make Andrew have to update the punishment thread.

So with that, a not-entirely-arbitrary-because-I-wanted-to-ask-anyway change of subject: Pardon my spotty memory, as it's been almost 6 months since I've held one and my pictures came out fuzzy: Are the dice 16mm-ish or 19mm-ish?
