I know at least three dudes who had issues with Wayland, but I think they both ended up getting refunds from Paypal, I had mine sent to my parents in Suffolk, eventually got the second sheet but I had to file a dispute with Paypal before they sent it, eventually!

1st of the Insider Briefings... for the Terrain Counters

And many thanks to that man Talorien :o)

We now get to call these 'Facilities' - a new term to add to the units, buildings and terrain.

Facilities overlays represent strong, extensive structures, such as Ports. Facilities use the rules for buildings (see Ogre Rules - Sections 3.06 and 11.0). They cover the entire hex, giving the Town terrain type to the hex, unless destroyed.

Facilities are not affected by spillover fire (7.12, 11.04.4). They do not suffer automatic damage during overruns (13.01.2), but may be attacked in overruns like buildings (11.04.2).

During Cruise Missile detonation (10.04), Facilities are considered buildings (not terrain) when checking for SP damage to the Facility itself. However, they provide cover to other units in the hex, as if they are Towns.

Facilities hexes may contain additional buildings (it is possible, for example, to place a Laser in a Sea Base hex).

If a Facility is reduced to 0 SP, flip the overlay to its ‘destroyed’ side (see below).

Terrain Effects for all Facilities

Same effects as Town for movement (5.08) and combat (7.14.2) except:

GEVs move as Water (5.08.2) in hexes with a water depiction (Sea Bases, Harbours, two of the three hexes of Ports)

Marines may dive to avoid all overruns (7.14.4, 8.07) (including overruns from non-GEVs) in hexes with a water depiction

Destroyed side: Same effects as Rubble (5.08, 7.14.1, 10.04, 13.01), except that GEVs and Marines may treat hexes with a water depiction as Water (see above).

Cool. I like this addition.

I look forward to getting my hands on your sheets (counter sheets, that is!), which I'll order through Drew Metzger when I can update my existing order with him. I bet that'll be pretty soon (not that I'm worried about it).

Thanks Buzzardo - I'll pop Drew a message soon to see how he is. I'm returning to this and picking up on outstanding material after a long and busy time with work issues.

I tried but mine was rejected but obviously this guy got it right, sometimes BGG mods can be very fickle.

Ughh, I visited the BGG page you listed and saw that they did not have a photo of the sheet, so was going to upload the sample picture from SJG sponsor sheet.

But the permission requirements on BGG were MUCH to detailed... And I certainly did not have permission.

Aye - it's been 'challenging', even for me to post up stuff. New image is there now and I'm hoping one of the mods may help make it the main image too.

I've had a few web-links and other images declined, but will continue to try to put up content. Trying to link across to the Launch Party Flyer too, currently residing in the Ogre Files section, but no luck so far.

Another Insider Briefing later with information about one of the Facilities counters - thinking either the 'POL Stores' or the 'Rail Station'.

Anyone got any preferences?

I really like the concept of facilities - it fills a gap that's existed in the terrain model for large, multi-hex structures nicely. One question: if a facility spans spans multiple hexes, do they share SP? Or is each hex treated separately for damage purposes. I'd like to see it be a single shared SP value, or perhaps something like, e.g., 120SP for the whole thing (3 hexes), but 50SP damage to any one hex destroys that hex and the facility doesn't take more damage from attacks on that hex.

Either way, I like it!
