A couple of Munchkinomicon questions

Hi! We are a few new Munckin players, and we are really enjoying it so far.

We have a couple of very specific questions about the Munchkinomicon and I couldn't find the answer on the forums.

1- If you use a curse on another player and the curse isn't cancelled but it has no effect (e.g., a curse to remove a big object when the player doesn't have any big object equipped), do you get the Munchkinomicon.

2- If you are the owner of the Munchkinomicon and die:
a) Can another player loot your Munchkinomicon to draw a spell? If that's the case, I imagine the Munchkinomicon will inmediatelly come back to you and you will draw a spell too, is that correct?
b) If nobody loots your Munchkinomicon, do you draw a spell as soon as it "comes back" to you after your dead?
