Ogre Playmat Scenario Contest
We've produced several different playmats for both The Fantasy Trip and Ogre, and many of you have been collecting the designs and, we hope, using them in your game sessions. However, the most common question we get about them is: How do I use these at my table?
We use the playmats to run custom scenarios, but enough about us. How do you use the playmats in your games? Have you created a custom scenario or adventure for use with a specific playmat design? Now's your chance to show it off! For Ogre, each entry must include:
Ogre Prizes
RIGHTS All entries become the property of Steve Jackson Games. We reserve the right to publish your submission in the future (maybe in an Ogrezine, maybe some other way), use it as inspiration for a design of our own, or repurpose the material in ways we may not yet know.

Re: Ogre Playmat Scenario Contest
Should we limit the content to standard units and existing rules, i.e., no variants?

Re: Ogre Playmat Scenario Contest
I suggest sticking with standard units and the official rules.

Re: Ogre Playmat Scenario Contest
I'm very much looking forward to seeing the outcome of this project. So far, I've only used the playmats with existing scenarios, usually two of the mats. I'm such an infrequent player that even the old standby scenarios on their intended maps are often novel for me, but I like the idea of playing a scenario/map combination that literally no one else is likely to have played.

Re: Ogre Playmat Scenario Contest
When you say standard are you including the VG, SoN, ARF and Nihon units from any of the expansions or core game? Would BGGzilla be considered part of that. Also can maps mods be part of the scenario?

I would think some basic map mods (ie, using some overlays available in the various boxes (or from the free terrain PDF), the free stream overlay sheet, etc) would be ok.

Re: Ogre Playmat Scenario Contest
If it is in Ogre Sixth Edition, then it is standard. Changing the map is not a good idea.
