I'm pretty sure Andrew has previously said that they've already got the 2013 release schedule figured out and are thinking about 2014.

Having stumbled through all that mess...I'll toss in my 2 cents that MI was extremely underappreciated by my group when it first came out. In fact, I am certain I have posted here somewhere that I did not think it a very good core set, but a decent 'mesh' set. Allow me to revise that statement...

MI is the ULTIMATE mesh set, at least to my group. It has positively enhanced every other core set we have meshed it with and we are prepared to pay BIG MONEY (up to $20.99) for a copy of MI2 whenever the amazing minds of Austin, Texas see fit to create and distribute it.

Let me know if/when I can prepay...

I feel very confident in saying that we are still interested in publishing Impossible 2. Someday. But that day won't be in 2015.

Mission Impossible is one of my favorite editions. Definitely consider an expansion to it. The amount of Bond/Austin Powers/Kingsmen/etc gags/jokes practically begs for it.
