Default GURPS Dungeon Fantasy Adventure 2: Tomb of the Dragon King

"How hard could it be?"
The old man mentioned dragons
So what do you think?
— A bitter (but long-lived) delver
From Matt Riggsby, author of GURPS Dungeon Fantasy Adventure 1: Mirror of the Fire Demon and Dungeon Fantasy: Against the Rat-Men, comes a new challenge for delvers who want to get rich or become hors d'oeuvres trying: GURPS Dungeon Fantasy Adventure 2: Tomb of the Dragon King. As ever, Matt adheres to the principle of truth in advertising, because there is a tomb and there be dragons. Highlights include:
  • A quest that starts in town, which might be given by an old man in a tavern . . . or by a temple, guild, cabal, or any number of other groups.
  • A dungeon that's more like two linked dungeons.
  • Monster stats – yes, including stats for dragons.
  • Lots of Old-School™ tables for random encounters and treasures.
  • Maps, maps, maps (around here, we call the author "Maps Riggsby").
Anything more would be spoilers. I will add, though, that as with past adventures, this one can be customized to your game setting and to the PCs' numbers, capabilities, and personalities. And while it's designed for GURPS Dungeon Fantasy, it would work "as is" for fantasy campaigns based on other GURPS supplements – or, with very little work, for the Dungeon Fantasy Roleplaying Game.

What are you waiting for? The dragons are getting hungry!

I was one of the reviewers for this adventure. I find it has enough meat in it that it's not just an adventure, but it also gives me the skeleton of a larger campaign starting area that I'm merrily building off of.

I can't believe that nobody has thanked me for not writing "or fry trying." I'm making a real effort to be less silly here! ;)

I think the hours dovres bit was funnier anyhow.
And your humor is as appreciated as Steves was in his early works, at least by me.

Hastefully reading!

When will we see a long DFRPG/DF campaign by Ma... Mr. Riggsby?
