I saw that!

But then I learned that you can get *everything* GURPS Traveller from Far Future Enterprises...that might be a better deal?

Yeah, the FFE deal is a good one. All the CDs I've gotten from them have been great.

Well, the new bundle looks like it includes TIW, which I don't think is part of the FFE CDs. Also, CDs.... :-/

The thing I noted is that it includes the two Deck Plans not previously published as far as I know:

Deck Plan 4: Assault Cutter
Deck Plan 6: Dragon System Defense Boat

Just noticed that the first one claims it offers "GURPS Traveller 2E". Oops.

Why, "oops"? There were two editions of GURPS Traveller's core book.

Were there? I though it was 3E only. If so, why are they doing 2E there?

Ah, no: there were two editions of GURPS Traveller, but both of them were designed for and based on GURPS 3rd Edition. The GT second edition incorporated errata, brought some rules in line with GT: Far Trader, and cleaned up some issues with the space combat system.

Ah, so they mean that then, I assume. Thanks.
