Default [3e] Houseboat

Thoroughbred Houseboats' "Mane Decision"
The Mane Decision is a custom-built luxury houseboat designed and constructed by Thoroughbred Houseboats in Kentucky. It is a playboy's dream, featuring fine detailing and luxurious amenities. Woodwork is in solid cherry, countertops are granite, and floors are tiled.
The houseboat features four bedrooms, an office, a full kitchen, a 21' horseshoe bar, a 300 sf sun deck with misting sprayer, central heating and air conditioning, ceiling fans, flat panel televisions, and four cameras to monitor the engine room and exterior.
Utilities include two dishwashers, four refrigerators, four ice makers, a trash compactor, a microwave oven, a wine cooler, a washer and dryer, two Jacuzzi tubs, five water heaters, an espresso machine, satellite radio, TV and weather, over 300 lights and thru-hull lighting, two gas fireplaces, a swim platform, and a pressure washer for the outside of the boat.
The houseboat burns 13.5 gallons of diesel per hour at routine usage. A full tank of gasoline costs $720.

Subassemblies: Body +8 with Average lines.
Powertrain: Two 169-kW marine diesel engines with 338-kW light screw propeller, two 56-kW hydrojets (for maneuvering), 16,000-kWs lead-acid batteries and 40-kW diesel generator.
Fuel: 600 gallons diesel in Standard tank (Fire 9).
Occupancy: 8 in cabins. 4 bridge stations.
Cargo: ? cf.

Armor
All: 3/5

Equipment:
Body: Medium-range radio (30-mile), non-targeting surface-search radar (48-mile, Scan 21), 5-mile searchlight, full fire-suppression system, three portable fire extinguishers, precision navigation instruments, GPS, meteorology instruments, electric horn, five sound systems, four luxury cabins, four toilets, four showers, mechanical mini-workshop, three galleys, office, bar, 8-person environmental control, four digital vehicle cameras, 1,000-gallon water tank, 100-gallon waste tank, bilge pumps, 300 sf top deck.

Statistics:
Size: 115'x22'x26' Payload: 6.85+ tons Lwt.: 77.5 tons
Volume: 35,000 cf. Maint.: 31 hours Price: $421,877

HT: 12. HPs: 9,630 Body.

wSpeed: 14 wAccel: 0.5 wDecel: 1 wMR: 0.1 wSR: 5
Draft: 4.3 feet. Flotation Rating: 910 tons.

Design Notes:
Body is 35,000 cf.; this was estimated by determining the cabin's living area from the floor plans (93'x22'x14') and multiplying by the factor for Average lines (1.2). Structure is Medium, Standard, and Waterproofed with Average lines. Armor is Expensive Metal (aluminum). Mechanical controls. Design loaded weight is 101,913 lbs.; this was 34% under an estimated real-world weight of 155,000 lbs. However, the design lacks weights for provisions, the Jacuzzis, and a number of other amenities (washer and dryer, etc.) that GURPS Vehicles lacks stats for. Purchase price new is $1,350,000 in 2008.

Cool resource - thanks for the stats and link Dragondog.
Not a common item - I mean, I can find airliner floorplans and starships but a luxury pad on water? And it won't take much to stretch it to luxury star-yacht.
