Do the weapons' minimum ST need to be altered if you use the Know Your Own Strength rules from September 2015 issue of Pyramid? What kind of adjustment would be necessary?

Look at BL for the previous Min ST, and give it a new Min ST that roughly matches that BL under KYS. When in doubt converting a GURPS rule, refer to real-world units.

Fix anything that annoys you while you're at it.

Off topic, but this is by far my favourite thing about converting from one system to another. And one of the reason I convert everything to GURPS.

While certainly not perfect, Gurps is far more amenable to personalizing than most systems. One can often see the logic behind rules and methods rather than just having to eyeball every change.
