Ultra-Tech: Surveillance Swarms + Dust Chassis?
The Dust swarm chassis (p. 36) says that "Only Surveillance swarms may have this option." It also says (and agrees with the Microbot description on p. 35) that only Nanobots may have a Dust chassis. Yet Surveillance swarms are TL10 Microbots, not Nanobots.
Is this an error, or something else? |

Re: Ultra-Tech: Surveillance Swarms + Dust Chassis?
Well if you have Transhuman Space (the main book) you can see these listed there too, they use somewhat mixed terms, such as a "Microbot Nanobug" on p154.
I would suppose UT is the latest and greatest in terms of...well...terms, but it could be just semantics. My logic is that: First came GURPS Robots Then Transhuman Space then Ultra Tech and some sort of refinement process from those. Hopefully the author or one of the line editors will hear of your plight and address this. >

Re: Ultra-Tech: Surveillance Swarms + Dust Chassis?
Is it intended that a TL10 Surveillance Swarm ("Surveillance Dust") (p.106) can have a Dust chassis ?
