Default Power: Embodiment of Vice (Prototype)

This is the first prototype of an Ability for a Power I'm currently designing. Additional details are in this thread:

The Ability is based on the Affliction Advantage, with these Modifiers:

Embodiment of Vice (placeholder name) I

Based on Will (Target Roll) +20%
Cosmic: ability other than an attack or a defense +50%
Cost Fatigue (+1) -5%
Disadvantage (Enemy-Embodied Disadvantage) (+10%)
Extended Duration (Permanent with dispelling conditions: Killing the Embodied Vice and Expending XPs to buy off the Disadvantage) (+150%)
Malediction 100%
Negated Disadvantage (+5%) +50%
Specific (Mental Disadvantages) -40%
Takes Extra Time (+1) -10%

Value: [43]

The Ability removes a random Mental Disadvantage from the target, with a value up to [-5] and turns it into an Enemy with a value up to [Negated Disadvantage * 2]. The Power is resisted with an unmodified Will roll. For the duration of the Ability, the Mental Disadvantage is negated.

The Affliction ends if the Enemy is killed, but the Disadvantage returns if the 'victim' does not spend the character points to buy off the Disadvantage. The user has to spend 1 Fatigue point and the power requires 1 extra second.

Building the "Embodied" Disadvantage: "Embodied" Disadvantages with a value of [-10] or less are usually disgusting, insect-like beings. Embodied Disadvantages (in-game world name still unavailable) have the Summonable modifier, are relentless in the pursuit of their 'target', etc...

What do you think? I'm considering other modifiers, such as Pact, etc... I also need a Power Origin modifier (probably Magic).

I think what you're presenting is technically an ability rather than a power. I'm not sure what the power would be; perhaps Sin?

Yes, you are right.

So far, the Power has only got 1 Ability (Embodiment of Vice). I'm planning to add at least one more (Embodiment of Virtue, for turning Mental Advantages into Allies). The names of the Abilities are not (most probably) the final ones; they are just placeholders.

The basic mechanics are going be the same, however, and that is what I wanted to test.

What do you think of the Ability? Too expensive? Too narrow? Overpowered? All in all, there's only one ability so far, so you are right. Thanks!
