Actually, you don't have to pick six. All skills with multiple specialties are considered to be one skill for the purpose of calculating the cost of a talent. See p. 90 of Characters.

Default Woo, hoo!

All of my suggestions made it on that list. Woot! Woot!

I renamed Devious Thinker to Devious Wrecker 'cos 'thinker' is too vague and misleading.

From a long, forgotten grave, this thread rises to terrorise again.

3D: Most people envisage direction in relation to a surface but your perception is free. Skills: Aerobatics, Aquabatics, Free Fall, Navigation (Air, Space or Hyperspace), Piloting, Tactics (Air, Space or Hyperspace). Reaction Bonus: spaceship captains and zero-g athletes. 5 points/level.

Basic Set does not mention specialisations for Tactics but it strikes me as obvious.

I can see all of those except for Tactics.
Could you explain your justification for including Tactics in there?
Thanks.

Probably to simulate Kirk's fight with Khan in Star Trek II. Spock about Khan: "he is intelligent, but he only thinks in 2 dimensions". In that sense, I'm not against the principle.
