Default Grigori in female Vessels

(TRIGGER WARNING: This thread discusses sexual themes in the context of pregnancy and reproduction.)

Was there ever any consideration, among authors or the line generally, about how a female Grigori's native angelic powers would be affected during a pregnancy should she have known a human male? Could she go celestial? Switch Vessels -- perhaps to a male? Did leaving the Vessel "stop the clock" on the pregnancy? Or could she perhaps not do any of those things? Or, more in line with the Biblical description of the affair, was it only that Grigori in male Vessels could have children with human women?

Forgive me, for it’s been a long time, but wouldn’t the pregnancy remain with the vessel? Leaving should “stop the clock” exactly as much as it stops the clock on aging, bleeding out, hair growth, etc.

A pregnant vessel doens’t seem so different from a vessel with an extra finger.

Your response clarifies for me the underlying assumptions which would affect the answer.

Well, no, because the unborn is not actually part of the vessel. Given the general logic of IN, I would say that that a child that is developed enough to have (non-corporeal) Forces cannot be be made to vanish with a vessel (so the Grigori must either remain corporeal, or abandon it to die), and when that point is reached is GMs decision.

Angelic Players Guide, page 86:

A pregnant angel cannot enter her celestial form until the baby is born. This is why most angel-human matings involve human women and male vessels.

Well I'll be durned, it has been covered. The logic of that rule would certainly seem to extend to other means of leaving the Vessel such as Vessel switches as well. Thanks, cptbutton!
