Default Rapid Strike: Kiai?

Kiai "counts as an attack." (Adventurers p 32).

Can a Martial Artist perform a Kiai as a part of a Rapid Strike? With the -3 penalty for TbaM, it's even odds of success against a Will-10 target for even the default Martial Artist, and stunning your foe before you punch him dramatically increases the odds of landing a successful punch.

I'm especially curious because I can probably convince Bruno to let me play a minotaur martial artist, and rapid striking a kiai (at an effective skill 13) followed by a horn strike seems fairly effective.

It counts as an attack, so why not? And so does Push. They're strange attacks, but I can't see not allowing them with Rapid Strike.

As far as I can see, nothing in DFRPG disallows it.

I know I allow it in GURPS.
