Spaceshps question and or clairification.
Would someone do me a favor and clarify the relaitive velocity(basic combat) section under ballistic attack rolls and how it effects guns/missles?
And i believe im getting tripped up in spaceships 3 tactical combat with understaning realitive velocity and how to calculate it as well. Any help anyone? |

Re: Spaceshps question and or clairification.
For the basic Spaceships rules, you figure out the relative velocity for your range and turn length using the table on page 59, raise it to the minimum if it's less, and apply the modifier listed on page 60 to your attack roll. Note that the example for minimum velocity in the book appears to be wrong.

That was what i was working with in my tests yesterday. Am i right in reading there is no penalty realitive velocity if using an Em gun (any of the turn lengths) atClose range? Because minimum velocity 2? And no penalty for Relative Velocity? Or would it fall under the catagory for 3mps making it a -3 to hit? |
