Default [New Release] Pyramid #3/38: The Power of Myth

BEHOLD, MERE MORTALS!

I HAVE COME FROM THE . . .

HOLD ON A SECOND.

Sorry. My Celestial Caps Lock was on.

Anyway, speaking as one mythic figure to those of you aspiring to become legendary, I want to tell you a bit about Pyramid #3/38: The Power of Myth.

It's got two articles for GURPS Dungeon Fantasy -- including an adventure with full-color maps -- plus another one with GURPS Spaceships stats. It's also got a lot of info on how to use some of the most interesting and universal of mythic themes to make your gaming even stronger.

Who am I? I'm Zenufinus, the God of Hipsters. You probably haven't heard of me; I'm pretty obscure. Next time I come to Earth we can share a Pabst Blue Ribbon, and you can let me know how awesome you thought Pyramid #3/38: The Power of Myth was. No, I'm not in there, but I should be. It's quite an oversight, really.

So far, I've read the "Babylon Rising" article. Interesting, but to make it really work I think I'd need a few comprehensive companion books on the Iraq Occupation and all the factions on both sides.

Can anyone give me some suggestions?

I always hit up Wikipedia and figure whatever sounds dodgy or boring can be changed.

I've heard good things about Charles Tripp's 'A History of Iraq' and Polk's "Understanding Iraq." Allawi's got a book out about how we screwed things up, but it's biased towards his side of things.
