Default Delicious Eep?

This came up yesterday in an Epic blended game: Can you Munchkin Munch (Epic rules - Eat a level one monster) an Eep (Star Munchkin - 'The player to your left rolls a die, and adds this number to the Eep's level' printed on the card), or does the d6 roll come first, making it no longer a level one, and therefore inedible? Searched the forums, couldn't find an answer to this specific problem. Thanks!

Here is the Epic rule:
Quote:
Munchkin Munch. When you turn over (or Look For Trouble and find) a monster of Level 1, you may simply EAT it. Your foes cannot play any cards to stop this . . . it’s a Level 1 monster, you eat it, any bonuses applied to the monster are discarded, yum yum, that’s that. You go up a level for the hot meal, and since this is a kill, you can win this way.
EDIT: Removed my comments on what this means.

Sorry, but no, you can't. The Eep is not a 1st level monster, he is a [DIE_ROLL]+1 level monster. The die roll is part of kicking the door open, and not an additional bonus added afterwards.

It makes perfect sense when you put it like that. Thanks for clearing that up for me. =)

However, if roller had rolled 1 and had Chicken on head, Eep will be a Level 1 monster. But this is rare case....
