German Tournament Item - Tentacle Cover
Just a few hopefully easy questions as the one I have did not come with a rule sheet:
1) Does it have a rule sheet? 2) The bonus is a generic combat bonus, not one for running away? 3) It has no GP Value? 4) Can it be looted, stolen, etc. like any other item? 5) Do you have to cover a plush tentacle to use it? Please delete if this should be directed to Pegasus. |

Re: German Tournament Item - Tentacle Cover
I don't have one of these nor do I have access to the rulesheet mentioned below, but I found something on Pegasus forum.
There must have been some leaflets with the tournament set saying Quote:
My translation: the rules are as follows: Each player may have as many tentacle covers as they have tentacles - each cover gives a combat bonus of +1 but only if it covers a tentacle visibly at the beginning of the game. Only those cards or abilities affect the cover that refer to "Off-Play"-items, which are no cards (eg. Trained Moths from the blender set.) so 1) as stated, there was a rulesheet with the tournament set 2) it is only a combat bonus 3) no value stated 4) affected only by special abilities / cards that specifically refer to off-game items 5) obviously you have to cover a tentacle with it If anyone can give other / better information I will not claim universal knowledge for myself... (Maybe Chris might be the guy to ask directly - sometime I think he has stuff even SJ and AH do not know) |

Yeah, I'm not going to be any help with this one, not least because they created this . . . thing . . . during the time I was away from SJ Games.

Re: German Tournament Item - Tentacle Cover
If I were the referee, I would define "tentacle" very loosely in order to get people to be silly and to get the item into the game. But if you claim that your ear is a tentacle, you have to wear the sock on your ear!
