Cthulhu: Kleptomania and Yellow Pages
We had an instance this previous evening when a player had Kleptomania in play on himself, and tried to use the forced discard from that as one of the required discards for Yellow Pages. The owner of the game disagreed with the mechanics of the play on the grounds that you cannot use the act of discarding one card to get more than one effect.
Who was correct: the appropriately Munchkin-y player, the game's owner, or neither? |

Re: Cthulhu: Kleptomania and Yellow Pages
The game's owner. You have to complete each action separately, unless one of the actions specifically says it interrupts or cancels the other.
