Default Question about printings and editions

Hey, I recentley encountered an offer of the 1st edition 2nd printing Munchkin Quest. I am considering to buy it but I want to know if there are any major diffrences between that version and the one at stores. Thanks.

The biggest difference would be the rules; there were some errata and updates in the third or fourth printing. You can download a PDF of the current rules on our site. I don't think we changed the cards or room tiles at all.

Thanks a lot Andrew!
I like munchkin a lot but there are times that we are only 2 and cannot play. Thats why I was tempted to buy Quest. Any thoughts on that? I mean, would a regural munchkin player get any satisfaction from a 2 player Quest?

Thanks

Quest works relatively well with two players, where Munchkin does not, so it has that going for it. Of course, it would be better with three or four.

The nice thing about having only two players is that you can't get TOO many monsters out on the board, so running into a monster mob is a lot less likely. It also means you're less likely to have someone close enough to help out when you need it, of course.

Having played a 2-player game where I didn't get a turn because my opponent reached Level 10 and beat the Boss Monster on her first turn, I would suggest a house rule. The one we used was you only get one movement on your first turn, two your second and then normal movement from then on.

Just a suggestion though! Have fun!

This is a solid house rule. We have played a couple times and ran into a very similar situation, though it was turn 2 that the winner was crowned.
