Anyway, let's stick to the subject: Car Wars Sixth Edition!
So, Winter 2019, Spring 2020, or TBD?

The Car Wars dice are 14mm. There will be times you're rolling six or seven dice at once, so we wanted to make it as easy as possible to roll several at once time.

We'll have an estimated launch date for the Kickstarter campaign very soon. We still plan to start the project this year, but things can change when there's a game with this many parts.

Will there be a pledge for the game sans miniatures?

The miniatures are an integral part of the game.

Oh, I thought one of the reasons to go to 1/64 scale is so that we could use Hot Wheels/Matchbox cars. Are those unable to be used and specific Car Wars minis required?

The minis will be removable from their bases, but the bases themselves are required in order to play the game due to how the new collision and maneuvering rules work.

The miniatures are the playing pieces (not counting ancillary items such as the turning key), right?

I hope folks will be able to buy extra bases so that they can kit bash their own minis. :)

Extra bases. We will try to make that happen.

The game is the complete box set, including all of the rules, dash boards, the core set cards, the dice, and other bits needed to play, which includes the car bases and the car miniatures.

Those who wish to customize cars are totally welcome to do so. To do so, you will have to mount cars to the bases, which is a work for customizers that we won't be getting into. We're making Car Wars as ready-to-go out of the box.
