Default question about compendium differences

So I have the blue "2nd edition" compendium, but the errata I find posted online doesn't match the pages in the book I own. For example there is errata for page 143, but my book only has 112 pages!

One difference I've found between the rules in the recent "Classic" and what I have is that the targeting modifier for paint/smoke is -1 per half inch rather than a flat two.

I'd love to find out what the other changes where that were made between my printing of 2nd and the final one, but I'm not sure where!

Thanks.

The latest compendium is the green/black one (called the 2.5e Compendium)

http://www.sjgames.com/car-wars/games/compendium/

The 'blue' one is older, there were rules updates. I think the errata refers to the green/black compendium

Couldn't give you a list of changes from the two but look at the year of publication and compare it to Uncle Al's Catalog from Hell which was also an attempt to finalize the rules.

I believe the 2.5e Compendium is the definitive rulebook on second edition CW because it was the last to be published, followed by UACFH

The First Edition errata goes up to 112 pages.

All of that is incorporated in my book, which says second edition but has the blue cover.

Another difference i've found between Blue 2nd edition and Black 2.5 is the section on Jumping/Falling in 2.5, which is not in the one I have.

The other as I said was the change to targeting modifiers through paint.

Again, I'd love to find a comprehensive list of changes between these editions.

I seem to recall a change in the grenade rules between the two as well.

Another question: is there a difference between the 96 and 98 Deluxe Editions besides the cover art?

The version of the 2nd edition Compendium that was in it changed (blue to black). And I think the counter sheets might have changed somewhat as well.

Keep in mind too that earlier Deluxe Editions had the Deluxe Car Wars rulebooks rather than the Compendium. And that these had the same box cover art as the DCW containing the blue cover Compendium.

Countersheets were the same in my boxes; the black cover does include a bunch of errata, which is why I have bought deluxe 4x... the pre-compendium DCW, the C1 DCW, the C2 DCW, and the C2.5 DCW...

For a moment there, I thought that you meant the errata had 112 pages...

Actually, Megatraveller did have more than that, I think :-)
