Accepting Aid in Combat and enhancing Monsters
My family and I were playing the main core Munchkin set last night and ran in to a but of a snag during the final combat. My dad had accepted the help of my brother at the beginning of combat and my mom and I collaborated to enhance the monster so that he didn't win the game. When dad realized during the middle of combat that he and my brother did not have enough combat strength to defeat the monster, he tried to swap out help by using the kneepads of allure to compel my mom to help instead. My brother did not Withdraw his aid, my dad simply decided he no longer wanted it and even though mom and I had already put down enhancers on the monster to boost it, he tried to use her combat level for help and discarded the monster enhancers she had assigned to the monster already. SO there are 2 questions, can the victim change who is assisting him in the middle of combat by no longer accepting the help he had and compelling an attacker to assist when the original helper did not withdraw his help, and can more than one person add enhancers to the same monster?

Re: Accepting Aid in Combat and enhancing Monsters
Once you have accepted a helper, you can't change that helper unless you have a card that says you may. Kneepads of Allure is not one of those cards.
Yes, more than one player may enhance a monster. And changing or adding a helper doesn't discard enhancers.
