Yeah, I get it, it's just that comfort is always a no-brainer and the effects of the two other are resolved in one random encounter roll, which isn't very dramatic, so why bother?

Having the PCs play a long-range recon unit during a war (possibly in a huge cave room, between the dwarves and deep ogres, because dungeons) certainly shifts priorities around...
