Curse of Generosity
We have just had an argument about this curse I would like someone to please clarify.
The curse basically states the munchkin being cursed has to give one small item in play to each other players. If no items are left then each player can take a random 2 cards each until none are left. Now, I died on my previous turn, so fresh new set of cards given to me once i died, which I can not play until my next turn. My turn came up, then I was given this curse straight away. My argument is that I was dead until I place my cards down on the table and therefore I should be given the chance to put my cards down before the curse could take affect. The other player said everyone was to have 2 cards each from my hand as I had none in play. Can someone please help me with settling this. |

Re: Curse of Generosity
First, your timing was off. You don't draw your new hand of cards until the start of your next turn.
Second, the rules very clearly say that you have the opportunity to play cards from your hand, just as at the start of the game, before beginning your turn. To me, that means that until you say you are done playing cards, you can't be Cursed or otherwise screwed with. I concede that the rules don't explicitly say so, but it's a ruling I'm comfortable making.
