It occurred to me after reading Ectropy's post that for the last several weeks, I've been assuming that ability costs can be calculated using the HERO method, but completely forgot that the HERO method would chance the cost of Magical Attunement as well!
For those interested, the HERO base cost for Magical Attunement is 39 CP instead of 47.5 CP, resulting in roughly the following table:

The main impact of this, aside from the obvious one (Magical Attunement is slightly more attainable, cost-wise) is that it lowers the ceiling on spell value. Which may or may not be a bad thing, depending on your point of view.
