And of course, if the Crusader (and others) get to buy toned-down Warrior abilities, maybe the Warrior can buy some toned-down Crusader (and other) abilities. Quote:

First, because some players (like me) don't mind to be weapon specialists, just like the Swashbuckler and the Scout in the DF series. In fact, I think that if MH Warriors had the possibility to buy a variable Weapon Master (from 20 up to 45) and spend, let's say, 20 points to buy one melee skill at DX+5 or 24 points for DX+6, many players would choose that path. Warriors, unlike Crusaders and Experiments, have no special powers (maybe their Striking ST 5 could be considered a power), so they rely on their Weapon Master to A) Make more attacks; B) Parry more attacks; C) Do sweet, extra damage; D) Have access to some few chi skills, possibly buying some cinematic perks and techniques too. Advantages that increase ST like Blessed and Adrenal Muscular Trigger already offers a damage boost similar to that of Weapon Master. Allowing Crusaders to buy Weapon Master, even for one weapon, would raise their damage even further, overcoming the Warrior as the melee damage dealer. They will also attack and defend more often. That said, Experiments, Crusaders and Inhumans with Weapon Masters are great to them, but not that nice (and fair) with Warrior, IMHO. But maybe Rev will solve that problem with a future MH issue, creating multi-lenses and Power-ups. |

BTW, I can talk clearly now. I was speaking about the Guide My Hand learned Prayer, from the Dungeon Saints article... |

But this is a serious issue. As I presented before, the WM is the greatest Warrior advantage and gives equivalent weapon bonus damage to that of Blessed or Adrenal-Muscular Trigger (and we can't forget the improved Rapid Strike and Multiple parries) And I forgot to say it before: Highter ST means a heavier weapon (like a Greatsword), but WM damage bonus benefits even lighter weapons. So to allow non-warriors to have access to WM also would call for Warriors having access to other templates. |
