For this weeks rather somber GURPSday I go into how I think GURPS blasters should be tweaked to better model how blasters work in Star Wars and give you some fully stated up blaster pistols to get your guys started.

Tired of being limited to making your fancy ray guns have a ROF of only 1, 3, 10 or 20? Well tire no more as I show you how to make MOAR DAKKA!

That said, we here at Sith & Wesson Blasters look forward to adapting this to our next line of mounted Gatling blasters, with RoFs of 33!, 66!, and 100!, depending on model. :)

Glad ya can get some use from it.

I'm also trying to brain storming a work around for the wonky Min ST formula the Blaster and Laser Design System uses that will both be usable and avoids giving away the actual formula at the same time.

Figured since I was already patching up the issues I have with the Blaster and Laser Design System I might as well keep the ball rolling. This time I tackle fixing how beam weapons ST score are figured but in a way that keeps the actual formula hidden neatly behind the scenes.

So how would you handle something like a Star Wars "assault cannon", which is a beam weapon that is man-portable, fired from the hip, and essentially a LMG or GPMG, edging into minigun territory? My own builds treat it as a "cannon" since many of them can optionally be mounted; they're not exactly a "rifle" configuration.
