Somewhere between B and C. I like having more than one cause, but too many and it starts to get out of hand. Officially, I'm voting for C. |

Re: Vote up a SUPERS! setting.
Interesting thread. I'd go with:
1. A) The past (When we'd finally vote on it, I'd go much farther back than most, though. Renaissance Supers sounds fun, especially with weird clockpunk/alchemical gadgets). 2. C) A few types (This makes things more interesting without being random). |

Re: Vote up a SUPERS! setting.
So far the past has 13 votes, the Present has six, and the future has one. What no love for the Leigon of Superheros?
One origin gets five votes, many origins gets two (combatmedic did change his vote), and Few Origins gets eleven. Two didn't chose to vote. I'll run these first two votes until Tuesday. Then we'll get secific on time, seek out what kind of origins might be cool, and ask about place. After those, we'll work out other things.

Re: Vote up a SUPERS! setting.
I'll vote for THE PRESENT (although I could be down for anytime in the 20th century, especially the pulp era) and ONE ORIGIN, even though it's probably too late for my vote to tip the scales.

I might start a vote on different pasts sooner since The Past is close to double the other two together.

Re: Vote up a SUPERS! setting.
When In the Past?
As it looks good for the past winning I'm starting a poll on when in the past. Everybody gets three votes. No more the two on a single period. This is just a rough start, more refinement later. A) Pre-neolithic (Cavemen, Atlantis, and Mamoths oh my!) B) Ancient Times (Egypt, Sumer, Homeric Greece, ect) C) Classical Times (Between 600BCE and 600CE) D) Medieval Times (When knights were bold and maidens lost...) E) Early Modern (1500 to 1789) F) Romantic (1780-1840) G) Victorian (1840-1900) H) Pulp (1890-1939) I) WWII (From the Asian beginings until the Berlin Airlift) J) Cold War (1945-1965) K) The Sixies (1960-1975) L) Recent Past (1970-2000) As I said, refinements later.
