I say this a lot: Tabletop Simulator (link to Steam page).

We use it for our gaming needs. It can do minis either 3d or 2d standies. If you're into 3d modeling or have access to a large library of 3d models (and have the patience to decimate the models) you can import your own. There are also scads of various figures in the Steam Workshop. I am not associated with them in any way, they've just got an awesome VTT that we enjoy using.

Thanks, but it doesn't seem like what I am really looking for. I'm looking for something more ready to play, like the old Great Battles of Alexander game.
