Oh no? My group uses the extra effort stuff all the time, both PCs and monsters. Adds a bit of spice to the combats. Then again, speaks to the modularity of the systems where you can add raw GURPS stuff to DF.

I think the idea was that DFRPG, the stand-alone game, does not support it. But yes--many of us running or playing in DFRPG games use other rules from GURPS Basic, GURPS Martial Arts, Doug Cole's Fantastic Dungeon Grappling, etc.

Edit: By "does not support it," I mean, it's not in the boxed set itself.

Accurate. It has other advantages, but this is one.

I definitely enjoy it a great deal. So much so, that I have requested a license to do some old school, early 1980s TSR style modules for DFRPG.

Fingers crossed, because I think they would be a lot of fun.
