Hi folks,
Looks like we have an split decision on whether Rapiers may be +2 fine. Maybe this is the answer:

ITL Page 111 defines the Rapier as also being a bilbo, epee, fleuret, foil or tuck. If you look at these most are thin blades that would not provide a strong cut but not all. The bilbo and tuck both look to be capable at cutting.

In game we do not need to have players define which rapier they have. Just know if a player wants to purchase a Rapier +2 that would mean the armourer would know how to achieve the blade needed to achieve that.
