Raincoat
Player A is alone in combat, and player B throws down a Potion. Then, player C helps in the combat but he wears the Raincoat. What happens with the Potion?
A) It counts for the combat? B) It's discarded? C) It returns to player B? D) ... Thanks!!

Re: Raincoat
I'm no wizz on the rules but I'd expect that the potion would still work since it was thrown before the raincoated player had entered the fight - I don't remember the exact wording on Raincoat.

Re: Raincoat
Timing issues are always tricky in cases like this. I would be OK either with saying that the Potion stays in play, for exactly the reason cited, OR that the Potion goes back to the person who played it. We'll have to discuss this and get back to you with an official answer.
And since Steve is on vacation, that answer may be a few weeks coming. Fair warning!

Re: Raincoat
There's some concern, to my mind, that the Raincoat only works for the player who is the combat originator, i.e., the player whose turn it is, based on the language of the card. Take a look and you'll see what I mean. . .
